I’ve had the opportunity to work with Caplor Horizons whilst developing our Vision. It was imperative for the process to be transparent, inclusive and participatory. Caplor Horizons helped us produce a Vision that had 100% buy in from everyone. Since the vision process, Caplor Horizons has carried out a mid-term review of our strategy.
Caplor Horizons has shown itself to be an inspired, informed, resourceful, client-focused organisation. We have no hesitation in thanking, praising and recommending Caplor Horizons. We will certainly be working with them again.
Caplor Horizons created a series of six sessions with the Programmes and Partnerships Team at All We Can as part of our team’s leadership training and development programme. The series was insightful and it has provided us with shared language as a team. We were extremely inspired and appreciated the input of lauded experts who ran the ‘Master Classes’ including Lord Paul Tyler, Dr Peter Moore and Samson Hailu. Each of these Advisors at Caplor Horizons, added unique learning nuggets that we will continue to reflect upon and apply in our work for a very long time.
Caplor Horizons facilitated an international gathering of Edmund Rice mission directors to formulate a Strategic Development Framework for the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Rarely have I participated in a workshop like this where every delegate owned the outcome with passion and energy. Currently Caplor Horizons is accompanying twenty leaders from across the globe as they explore their present journey to a new place of being in mission, community and spirituality.
Thank you to the Caplor Horizons team for working with our staff, volunteers and trustees on the development of our new 5 year strategy. We really valued the way you worked with us, listening to our issues and needs and tailoring the sessions to ensure everyone felt involved, as well as gathering the information needed to inform our strategy.
CaplorHorizons worked with our East Africa division, TechnoServe’s largest, to lead a highly successful regional leadership retreat. It was by far our most effective retreat thanks to their guidance and support.

Dóchas worked with Caplor Horizons to facilitate a special meeting of our Board. The day proved to be a huge success, with many of the Directors commenting on the great pace of the day, the sensitive way the decisions were facilitated, and the energy and creativity that Ian and Lorna brought to the sessions. We were very pleased and highly recommend Caplor Horizons.
Working with Caplor Horizons has been a wholly positive experience. It’s involved the development of a shared vision and strategy between the Marine Conservation Society and Fish2fork. The focus now is on leadership development.
I was so impressed with the work of Ian and Lorna and their team of Advisors at Caplor Horizons when they facilitated the FEIL’s strategic development process. I made a mental note that when my own organisation in Ireland embarked on its updated strategy process, I wanted Caplor Horizons involved. And I didn’t regret it.
We work with responsible businesses as well as charities.
We have worked with Money for Madagascar during a period of leadership transition. This has involved contributions on many aspects, including input on website development.
The work ICHA has done together with the CaplorHorizons’ team has been impactful. It has generated a buzz within the Red Cross Movement. The model of training that the programme has taken has been talked about in various African countries. I am very hopeful that it can grow and inform how the Red Cross Movement views leadership, as an important factor in improving our performance worldwide.
As well as our international work, we have also engaged with local and national organisations, helping them with strategy, team development, leadership transition and mentoring.
Caplor Horizons’ input has proved extremely beneficial to the senior team, particularly towards the development of a new strategy. The staff and various Advisors from Caplor Horizons have contributed very effectively.
