Caplor Horizons works with both UK and international organisations. Each year we draw together an Impact Report about how we have contributed.

All of our work with encompasses various elements of change: at individual, organisational and societal levels. We categorize our work according to three broad themes of developing leadership, strategy and influence.

Developing Leadership 

We have worked with a number of organisations to design and deliver bespoke Leadership Development opportunities.

We believe in the power and potential of distributed leadership. We believe that everyone is a leader. We work to enable people to understand, build on and maximize their strengths and become authenitc and skillful leaders.

Caplor Horizons created a series of six sessions with the Programmes and Partnerships Team at All We Can as part of our team’s leadership training and development programme. The series was insightful and it has provided us with shared language as a team.

We were extremely inspired and appreciated the input of lauded experts who ran the ‘Master Classes’ including Lord Paul Tyler, Dr Peter Moore and Samson Hailu. Each of these Advisors at Caplor Horizons, added unique learning nuggets that we will continue to reflect upon and apply in our work for a very long time.

The work ICHA has done together with the CaplorHorizons’ team has been impactful. It has generated a buzz within the Red Cross Movement. The model of training that the programme has taken has been talked about in various African countries. I am very hopeful that it can grow and inform how the Red Cross Movement views leadership, as an important factor in improving our performance worldwide.

Developing Strategy

We work with a variety of organisations on the development of their strategies, both at team and organisational levels. We work in an engaging and creative way. We work with our clients and partners to establish an open, inclusive and fun approach to developing strategy. We also focus on embedding learning and development opportunities throughout.

Leading in the Library is an exciting collaboration between Caplor Horizons and INASP to strengthen the organisational effectiveness of library consortia. Library Consortia play a pivotal role in the knowledge economies of Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Uganda by enabling access to cutting edge research.

Caplor Horizons facilitated an international gathering of Edmund Rice mission directors to formulate a Strategic Development Framework for the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Rarely have I participated in a workshop like this where every delegate owned the outcome with passion and energy.

Currently Caplor Horizons is accompanying twenty leaders from across the globe as they explore their present journey to a new place of being in mission, community and spirituality.

Developing Influece

As well as individual and organisational change, we work to support societal change. Our work on Influence has included a number of national and international level events where we aim to collaborate with other like-minded organisations and share learning and ideas for achieving a sustainable future.

Dóchas worked with Caplor Horizons to facilitate a special meeting of our Board.
